The Cavendish Philatelic Auctions Worldwide & GB sale 10 & 11 March 2021 achieved excellent results with almost 90% clearance of lots on the day. A record number of online bidders took part in the sale with a very large number of individual bidders successful. There was very lively bidding on key items, for example lot 558 a "HUNGARY - COVER REGISTERED AT 5kr RATE FROM PEST TO THE POPE IN ROME" (estimate £100, hammer price £4400!), as well as more ordinary material such as lot 693 "MOROCCO - RANGE ON MOUNTED & ANNOTATED LEAVES" (estimate £30, hammer price £220).
