(minor creasing; tiny tear at top left) ex Lucknow to "Post Office, Tokomariro, Otago, New Zealand. To be called for"; headed & countersigned for a Rifle Brigade Private with 8pi lilac tied by fair "MEERUT/164" duplex with v. fine red boxed Calcutta "INDIA/PAID" and fine "TOKOMARIRO/OTAGO N.Z." arrival cds (17 Dec.) alongside. There are also Calcutta and "N.Z./DUNEDIN" backstamps along with a mainly fine "TOO LATE" (Calcutta presumably).
