Society displays

Most of the staff at Cavendish collect either stamps, postal history, postcards, and/or ephemera etc. and are willing to give displays to Societies and other interested groups. Under normal circumstances there is no charge but when travelling long distances we would ask that the speaker is provided with refreshments prior to the display and overnight accommodation.

The following speakers and topics are available:

Cavendish Philatelic Auctions Speaker depends on availability.
• ‘Phantastic Philately’ (unique collection of hand made stamps by a POW)
• The ‘Rae’ Thematic collection of unusual (pre 1970) Animal & Bird Stamps.
• Either can be combined with a ‘no holds barred’ Question and Answer session on Philatelic
Auctions from A to Z.
