WHAT'S NEW
The main change in this new version is that we are moving to a database presentation of the catalogue, this has several advantages. Firstly you will be able to find the lots or sections you are interested in faster, the lot information is presented in a clearer manner and the presentation of images has been improved considerably. You will be able to search the cross reference, another popular aspect of the old site and the printed catalogues. But in the new database version the lots within the cross reference will be gathered together so there will be no need to search all over the place for lots that may interest you. Very soon all the old sales will be online in this manner. All the historic sales will have the price realised included in the lot information - a real bonus for research.
Finally we have sought to make the site more interesting - you will notice that there are post sale reports and articles and we have arranged for some of our friends to write for us from time to time (be sure to read part one of Ken Bakers' Ramblings of an old man' article as he turns 60 and recollects his early career selling over-priced house (that must make the present economic situation his fault then!)
FINALLY
We have built this site for your convenience, not ours, so please use the general contact form to tell what you think, good or bad, about what we have done. .
