| 473 | PRAM PRAM, QUITTAH AND ACCRA 'EXPERIMENTAL' SQUARED CIRCLE: 1891 (16 May) A fine almost complete strike in blue on 1d carmine of Pram Pram with an additional device of a heart surmounted by a cross struck in the same ink, believed to have been used by a Mission which acted as a post office, fine and possibly unique. (Ex Forsyth & Ashanti) plus Quittah 1875 (7 June) a fine strike without code letter on Lagos 2d, (two tears) but this c.d.s. was not officially issued at this time, the earliest recorded date on Gold Coast adhesives being 27 September 1875. (Ex Danson & Ashanti) and 1899 pair of commercial PC's (minor faults; 1d red P. Stat. and early coloured PPC of "Accra" with tied key type 1⁄2d pair) with ACCRA Experimental Squared circles used to Germany and Austria both with partly fine strikes of this distinctive cancel.
