Good contents (cross-written & long; no transcript available) start in "Merida" and conclude after some days marching back across Spain towards the Portuguese frontier, at "Badajoz" (five miles from Portugal); "The Commander in Chief [Wellington] is here still". With uncomplimentary comments on the recent French defeat of the Spanish (presumably the Battle of Ocana on 19 Nov. 1809), descriptions of the French advance towards Portugal, etc. Worth careful deciphering.
