BRADBURY, WILKINSON: A small group of proofs with a useful range of Crete (c1907-1910, 18 items), Italy 50l Duty tablet in grey-blue similar to that used for the 1906 King Victor Emmanuel issue & a proof in green for the 1906 milan International Exhibition plus Norway Tromso 1882 (Jan.) 2o engraved imperforate printer's sample in pale red. BRADBURY, WILKINSON: A small group of imperforate samples of Indian States (6, largely Hyderabad, one headed "BHAWULPORE") and Rumania. The latter being a selection of c1906 imperforate printer's samples in one, two or three colours, seven of complete designs, four of frames only and showing just the vignettes. Minor faults but chiefly fine. (19).

DEATH OF THE DUKE OF CLARENCE, 1892: Lady Southampton's copy of a quarto-size, black-bordered printed announcement of the death of her grandson, the Duke of Clarence - a controversial character, fiancÈ of Princess May of Teck (later Queen Mary) and rumoured to be involved in the 'Jack the Ripper' murders of 1888. His death enabled his brother, Prince George of Wales, to accede as George V in 1910.
