1334 LUXURY WAFER SEALS ON PICTORIAL/ARISTOCRATIC MAIL OF THE DUCHESSA DI COSIGLIANO; Privately carried local group of 1841 & c.1841 EL's (and one letter) all addressed to this Duchess and written in Italian; all the ELs have fancy frames to their contents and are sealed with fancy armorial/heraldic wafers; one has a gold/blue/green/pink floral design on EL with spectacularly decorative blue printed pictorial frame to contents. 1342 RARE "NOT/TOBE/GRAHAMED" RED EMBOSSED WAFER SEAL ON CASH-PAID COVER FROM LONDON; 9 Sept. 1844 EL (printed contents ref. a legal Association) from London (fair "1D PAID" mark) to Newcastle under Lyne sealed with a fine rectangular red embossed wafer (slight crease) bearing the words "NOT/TO BE/GRAHAMED". The wafer was originally the other way up but clearly belongs to the cover, but has been moved slightly by some idiot in order to display it the same way up as the address panel; nevertheless an extremely rare early Anti-Graham cover.
