"VICTORIA/B/SEYCHELLES" arrival backstamp, and having a very fine small purple straight-line "PASSED BY CENSOR" mark of Seychelles (Fitton H.I; one of only 5 known examples) on the front. This censor mark was struck in the first week that censorship was undertaken in the Seychelles. Rare mail posted before the outbreak of war and delivered just 3 days after war was declared.
