The cover was carried on the 1st air mail to London which refers to the Imperial Airways return flight from Kano, Nigeria. Although surveyed in 1930 it was not until 1936 (15 Feb) that the first flight from London took place, on the first return flight stopping points in the Sudan were Geneina, El Obeid and El Fasher. £100
