Seymour" and "General Dorward"), addressed to Wippach (6 Dec. arrival c.d.s. on front), cancelled both ay a very fine rare purple oval "LIU KUNG TAU/+ POST OFFICE+" oval d.s. and by an overlapping superb 2 Nov. "HONG·KONG" transit c.d.s., with a fair octagonal French "YOKOHAMA A MARSEILLE/L.N.No.6" d.s. on the front. Very rare genuine usage of this spectacular oval cancellation, of which only a handful are known on covers/cards. There was nothing like this card in the Richard Chan Collection. Exhibition Quality. (unrecorded by Hammond Giles) on the flap, and both have been charged the Concession Rate of "2"(d) on arrival. Plus matching Dec. 1845 EL with v. fine boxed "NUSSERABAD/Paid" d.s. posted on almost the same day as the 2d-rate cover, but charged the full "1/10" rate via France. (3 covers). £150

The 2d Bisect and the 5d are tied, but some vandal removed the SG1 many years ago and R.H. Pratt found the replacement stamp (for Exhibition purposes) during the 1970s.
