"OFFICIALLY SEALED" LABEL; Remarkable 21 Nov. 1913 usage of the Australia 1d Letter-card (Zoological Gardens in Perth photo on reverse) with a small pen-and-ink portrait (of the addressee?) on the front, having a rare printed "WESTERN AUSTRALIA/OFFICIALLY SEALED" label wrapped round the foot; inside are some original pressed flowers sent home by H.C. Appleby as a Christmas present for his wife, attached around four photos of the writer and his tent, with a Christmas poem alongside.
