1283 ARROCHAR VILLAGE TYPE XX & III CANCELLATIONS AND CLACKMANAN (sic) UDC IN BLUE: c.1856 cut-to-shape 1/- green embossed adhesive (very rare with any Scots Local cancellation) bearing a partial but superb "[A]RROCHAR [VILLAGE]" UDC (Dunbartonshire but under Glasgow; Alcock rarity rating F), loose 1d red stars cancelled by a partial very fine large lined "[ARROCHAR VI]LLAGE" (Type III; Alcock rarity F), c.1858 off cover 1d red stars cancelled by a partial sans serif "CL[ACKMANAN]" UDC (under Alloa) in blue (Alcock maximum rarity G; recorded only in 1855) and proving Aug., 1858 env. with a very fine strike of the latter UDC in black on the reverse.
