1623 "MISSENT" MARKS OF "GNR Post Office" AND "Derby R.O."; Dec. 1841 env. from "RUGELEY" (near fine c.d.s. on front) to Clifton with very fine (for this) "Missent to/G.N.R. Post Office" mark on the front as well as manuscript "Not to be found"; plus Feb. 1848 front + one flap to Hull with 1d Red tied by Sheffield numeral, endorsed "Found inside another letter.", with a remarkably fine blue "Missent to/Derby.R.O" mark on the front. 1637 GERMAN STATES - HANOVER COVER WITH 2d BLUE & 6d EMBOSSED: 1854 Env. from London (fair "Portland St" on flap) to 'Verden.../...Hannover/Germany" franked with a cut square 6d lilac (clear margins on three sides but slightly cut into at left) just overlapping a 2d blue "stars" both tied by London numerals and two-ring Aachen transit c.d.s. with "P." in oval alongside.
