Cover is repaired at top right where a small piece bearing the adhesive & the m/s writing has been excised and subsequently re-affixed to rest of cover. Accompanied by photocopy of similar cover from the Royal Collection (which could well bear other half of the bisect) with pencil note stating that "There are 5 known examples of the 22 NO 99 bisects" (note: one realised c. £3,000 in Christie's Nov., '96 sale), 2 left & 3 right half.
