417 REVENUE STAMPS: 5p (Barefoot 6) affixed to a complete Supreme Court notice dated 30 September, 1898 paying the fee for taking out a summons, this being the last day of issue and and also the last day of use of Spanish currency in Gibraltar, used in combination with the 1/-, 2/- & 8/- values (Barefoot 11, 12 & 14) of the English currency issue cancelled on 13 October, 1898 when judgment was entered. The adhesives are all tied by Angmagssalik datestamps of Sept. 20. The cover arrived in Philadelphia in November 1940 (!) & spent a further month en route to New York before making its way to Hamburg where it was censored by the Wehrmacht.
