532 REUTER'S TELEGRAPH SERVICE - MATABELELAND: 1894 An unused 10/-., 5/-., 2/6d. vertical se-tenant strip of three from the right of the sheet with m/s "These stamps were used for prepaying the charges for carriage of telegrams and letters by Reuter's Native Runner Service, between the different advancing terminal stations from Tati upwards, during 1894./L.Norris Newman. Capt.", numbered in red crayon "32" (the sheet number of the 50 printed). Two small foxed spots and marginal creasing. A rare item as this service operated only from 28 March to June 1894.
