E (minor creasing) to Greenock, Scotland "Per [Ship] Darlington" with a very fine strike of the afore-mentioned mark (light crease) well placed on the front and alongside a mainly very fine similar "Ship Lre./(Crown)/LIVERPOOL" transit mark. FORGERIES, FAKES, etc.: 1886 ½p surcharge with large "1" at left (SG.29a) with part Limassol c.d.s. but damaged at top left, 10 paras (SG.74) used on small piece but in sepia & green (the issued colours of the 6p, i.e. SG.80) with Royal cert. (1990) stating this to be a colour changeling, used ¼p (SG.103w.) with inv. wmk. (Cat.£750) but unfortunately thinned at bottom left whilst 2 other corners have folded perfs.), £5 black and yellow "used" with Royal cert. (1999) stating that stamp has been cleaned, has a forged obliteration and a vertical crease damaging surface, 4 used copies of KGVI 1p perf. 13½ x 12½ (SG.154a) and Bahamas KGVI 1/- (SG.155c) mint (toned gum) with a pronounced flaw "flame on forehead".
