(+ contents) from Malta to Boston (U.S.) with fine to very fine "MALTA/SHIP LETTER" mark on the front, slightly overstruck by London & New York datestamps with red m/s "1/8" and fine "MALTA/PAID" c.d.s. on the front, but also charged full Transatlantic postage (in spite of the full prepayment) with fine red (unpaid) "NEW-YORK/SHIP/19cts" c.d.s. on the front.
