2285 A MOST ATTRACTIVE REGISTERED FRONT BEARING 6D MAUVE: 1856 (8 Jan.) front registered from Hull to Leeds franked with LC14 1d pair to pay postage slightly overlapped with a cut square embossed 6d mauve (just cut along frameline at left and with scissors cut in margin at top left). The pair cancelled with strikes of the "383" numeral and the 6d tied by a superb "HULL" spoon duplex. Some very light front creasing but most attractive. PHOTO - ABOVE £220
