    ARMENIA - 1929 PHILATELY FOR CHILDREN: The exceedingly rare group of Russian definitives handstamped in violet, being the values 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, 7k, 10k, 18k, 20k & 70k, the 18k value with a small mark in NE corner. All are fine mint or unmounted mint. The proceeds from the sale of these stamps was intended to benefit abandoned children. It is thought that fewer than 500 stamps in total were sold.
