A specialised catalogue including an extensive range of QV Mulready stationery, propaganda & caricatures, and line engraved, surface printed & embossed stamps; also stamps and postal history from KEVII to QEII, and a wide range of G.B. regions.
Featuring the BRIAN CROPP FSPH collections of transatlantic mails (1839-1900) & Channel Islands (including WWII occupation mails, 1940-45), and the MAJOR HOOD collection of Crimean War postal history.

The BERNARD LUCAS FRPSL, FSPH collection of Persia (Part 2). Including the 1902 Type-Set Issue with Multiples on Cover, 1911-13 Issue Covers, 1917 Kermanshah issue with a remarkable range of positional multiples, 1918-19 Famine Relief Issue Studies & Covers, the 1924-25 Issue (with mint & used, including Colour Trials & Proofs & the 2kr Inverted Centre), a further selection of specialised Postal History lots (119 in all), this time featuring several sections that were not included in the first Lucas auction, namely; the 1881 Litho/Recess issue covers, the 1902 Typeset 1st Issue covers, rare 1909 Lar Rebellion provisional covers, specialised studies of WWI and WWII censorship (Norperforce, Dunsterforce, A-S-P censors, etc.), the various Famine Relief issues (inc. Recht & Tabriz types) plus the Yahgoobi Parcel stamps on covers/receipts, and a superb collection of used Postal Stationery to 1920 (46 lots inc. very early envelopes, a rare registered wrapper, and a comprehensive range of the pictorial Enschede postcards).
